    Hardcover, 7”x 5”, complete with each pages and large folding map. The earliest published book of the Battle of Gettysburg by Michael Jacobs, professor of Pennsylvania College and resident of Gettysburg. Jacobs, who was there during the battle and familiar with the battlegrounds topography, provides detailed explanations of the Union and Confederate troop movements along with specific times through the days they moved and marched. The folded color map taken from actual measurement is exceptionally rare and valuable.

    extremely Good Condition. Spine and edges rubs, fairly tough binding and all pages complete. The attached map repaired at folds and is in fair condition. First owner signature on first page.
